Kramer Ausenco was commissioned by CCJV to undertake site visits and document rehabilitation works for 20 bridges on the Highlands Highway between Mendi-Hides, Southern Highlands Province (SHP) to restore them to T33 capacity.
This upgrade was essential to cater for heavy construction machinery passing through the area to be used for a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project early civil works.
Kramer Ausenco having worked in the SHP for many years and knowing the local people and environment well; engaged our experienced National Structural Engineers to investigate and assess the structural capability of the 20 bridges.
We had no problem liaising with the local people who lived along the vicinity of the road corridor. We explained to them the importance of the work we were doing on site and what the LNG Project shall deliver to them.
Kramer Ausenco provided an Engineering Assessment Report with the respective structural drawings to the Client.
