In May 2008, the CBSI Board of Directors engaged the multi-disciplinary services of Kramer Ausenco to for the construction of six (6) executive management type houses and an international standard tennis court for recreational activities and other associated amenities.
The project was divided into two phases. Phase 1 Civil Works and Phase 2 The Buildings.
The difficult terrain of the project site made the project challenging in both design and during the construction and contract management phases.
KA-SOL had the privilege to be involved in the overall project management and contract administration of the project together with the assistance of Kramer Ausenco Vanuatu (KA-VAN) in the structural design & architectural stages and Kramer Ausenco Fiji (KA-FIJ) who were involved in the building services. Kramer Ausenco Samoa (KA-SAM) was responsible for the Master Site Planning Layout in the initial stages of the project. This project was a good example in showing the different Kramer Ausenco country offices, though thousands of kilometers apart, worked efficiently together as a single team and successfully delivering this project to the client.
The ceremony was attended by CBSI Board of Directors, Fletcher Kwaimani Joint Venture (FKJV), Kramer Ausenco (KA-SOL) and other delegated invited guests.
The housing estate building construction works commenced on the 08th July 2010 and achieved practical completion on April 2012. The total cost of the project was approximately 5 million AUD. The ceremony was attended by CBSI Board of Directors, Fletcher Kwaimani Joint Venture (FKJV) head staff, Kramer Ausenco (KA-SOL) and other delegated invited guests.
