The Brothers rugby union club in Port Moresby have done well in the administration department with continued support filtering through from their club sponsors and leading locally owned engineering company Kramer Ausenco. The club received a batch of specially made Brothers supporters polo-shirts and training singlets.
Club president George Koi was thankful of the added support that is now totalling just over K50,000 over the last two years. Koi was more than appreciative as this was the first time the club received merchandising of this level. “This would support the endeavours of the club and its supporters base in particular the old boys,” he added.
Kramer Ausenco CEO Frank Kramer made the contribution on behalf of board chairman Sir Rabbie Namaliu and the board. “We are PNG’s number one engineering company that is also operating in seven countries in the Pacific including Australia,” said Kramer. “Apart from our corporate responsibility we have to ensure that we don’t forget our social and community responsibilities as well.” Meanwhile, POM rugby goes into its major finals this weekend.
