Kramer Ausenco is proud to announce, “this year’s champions of the Sport Tok 7s, are Brothers.” With Joe Kautu’s excellent coaching and the team’s fierce play, the Kramer Ausenco Brothers won their first major sevens title - The 2021 Sports Tok Sevens, with a Cup final score of 19-5.
Kramer Ausenco is proud to have been sponsoring Brothers since 2011. For over a decade, Kramer Ausenco staff have been watching and cheering for Brothers' success, and Kramer Ausenco can proudly say that we are still extremely impressed by Brothers’ continued hard work and dedication to the mentoring of young PNG talent.
Frank Kramer (Kramer Ausenco CEO and founder), said “Congratulations to the Kramer Ausenco Brothers for winning the 2021 championship of the Sports Tok Sevens! Well done to all the players, team captain Arthur Clement, and Coach Joe Kautu for their persistence and hard work throughout the season. Despite the setback of being runners-up in last year’s tournament the Kramer Ausenco Brothers have managed to turn things around and fight back to claim the championship. As proud sponsors we are thrilled to congratulate the team on this historic win and we’re confident that the Kramer Ausenco Brothers will be back to reclaim the title in 2022.”
Club Captain Ahulo Ottio, a club member since 2007, said, "What an amazing feeling it is to finally win the cup after falling short in the last three previous attempts. Hats off to the boys for putting in the hard yards at training and at the game. Thank you also to coach Joe, and team manager Johnny for being the driving force behind the club's positive culture. However, none of this would have been possible without the continuous support of our major sponsor Kramer Ausenco. KA has been so loyal to us for the past decade, and we hope we are doing enough to get the brand out there with victories such as this. With KA's assistance, we've been able to bring in a professional approach to the club with qualified trainers and physios to help, and this has immensely helped in our players' performance and recovery. We hope this partnership will continue for the many years to come."
Kramer Ausenco wish all the Brothers team happy and safe celebrations and good luck over the next year. We will be cheering for you.
