The Brothers Rugby Football Union Club received new jerseys, shorts and socks, from major sponsors Kramer Ausenco (KA) on Saturday, 15 June, 2019.
Kramer Ausenco Papua New Guinea (KA PNG) has supported the Brothers since 2011 in the country’s top rugby competition, Capital Rugby Union, in Port Moresby.
KA Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands Regional Manager, Mr. Rovaly Sike, presented the new kits to Club President George Koi, Vice President/Manager Johnny Passingan, the Brothers’ women’s team-the KA Sisters-and representatives of the other club grades.
Mr. Sike said KA is a proud sponsor of a club which shares the company’s culture of teamwork, respect, integrity, recognition, growth and leadership.
“We’re sure the players will wear with pride their on-field strips. Supporters of the club certainly wear the supporters’ polos, caps and other merchandise with pride. And players and supporters alike, look forward to defending our men’s Premier and B grades 2018 grand final winners titles this year, and adding a few more titles through the other grades,” he said.
On Saturday the KA Sisters beat Harlequins 29-10. On Sunday the KA Brothers Men’s Under 23 defeated their opponents Juggernauts 3-0, A Graders won against that Juggernauts side 29-10, and the Premier Grade team triumphed over Juggernauts 57-0.
