Kramer Ausenco Solomon Islands Limited Country Manager Daniel Tucker has congratulated Gladys Habu on her crowning as Miss Solomon Islands 2019 on 2 November 2019 at Honiara’s Coral Sea Resort.
“Kramer Ausenco Solomon Islands applauds Miss Habu’s success which will see her representing the country at the Miss South Pacific Pageant 2019 in Papua New Guinea later this month,” Mr Tucker said.
He said Miss Habu was sponsored by Coral Sea Resort and entered the pageant as Miss Coral Sea Resort. However, Kramer Ausenco had financially assisted Miss Habu’s fundraising for the Solomon Islands Cancer Unit Health Care Services in Honiara.
“We supported Miss Habu’s fundraising cause under the pageant, as it was for a very worthwhile initiative, and this was the improving of the cancer unit,” Mr Tucker said.
He said Kramer Ausenco is involved in the design and construction of the CT Scanner Building at the National Referral Hospital in the Solomon Islands. KA will be the designer and Hatanga will be the contractor for the construction of the project.
Kramer Ausenco offer services throughout an entire project lifecycle, and across a range of industries including health. KA is currently providing services to two other large health facilities in Papua New Guinea.
The theme for this year’s Miss Solomon Islands pageant was ‘Advancing Women in Leadership and Stewardship’. Six participants contested, and were judged in four categories, Sarong, Talent, Traditional Contemporary Wear and Onstage Interview. All the points from these categories were added up with their marks from their speeches to determine the overall winner.
