Kramer Ausenco has contributed to K6.19 million being fundraised at a Gala Event for Youth With a Mission Medical (YWAM) Ships on 21 November in Port Moresby.
YWAM Medical Ships is actively developing communities by addressing the health care and training needs in Papua New Guinea (PNG) alongside the priorities and vision of the PNG National Health Plan. YWAM is implementing programs with its Medical Ship and land-based teams in rural PNG communities in association with key stakeholders and partners.
YWAM Medical Patron – PNG, Sir Rabbie Namaliu, acknowledged Kramer Ausenco’s generous contribution to the event. He said the money would go toward the purchase of the MV Ammari, a training and medical ship to serve Papua New Guinea. Sir Rabbie said MV Ammari’s work will be focused on the Southern Region and Huon-Gulf at present, under the strategic direction from the National Department of Health.
“What an incredible result from the Gala. I am exceptionally pleased and believe Kramer Ausenco can be very proud to have taken part in this journey,” he said.
