The Kramer Ausenco Brothers Rugby Football Union Club (BRFUC) are determined to win the premiership next year. Former and current Brothers’ players said this during the Club’s 40th anniversary dinner in Port Moresby on August 29, 2014.
The event was held at the Gateway Hotel and was well-attended by representatives from the corporate and public service sectors, BRFUC, and the rugby fraternity.
Brothers’ legend Philip Num Maipson, who played for the Club from 1975 to 1979, was guest speaker, and entertained the audience with his interesting and amusing stories about his spell with the Brothers, PNG Pukpuks, and The Rest of The World teams.
Three old boys also regaled the guests with their tales of the Brothers Club in the seventies, eighties and nineties, but between the laughs, the common theme was that it was time for another title.
In March the Club hosted a very successful sevens invitational tournament, also to mark this special year for them.
