The Kramer Ausenco Corporate Office is strategically located in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia to provide technical as well as administrative support to our multiple office locations in the South West Pacific.
The Brisbane office was originally established in August 1995 as Kinhill Kramer Pacific, then Kramer Pacific in 1999 and finally Kramer Ausenco (Pacific) on 1st December 2009 following the merge with Ausenco a leading provider of engineering and project management services to the global resource and energy sectors.
The partnership with Ausenco has enhanced our ability to support our regional offices by providing us with access to the latest technology, systems, processes and innovative solutions that have been proven globally on multi-billion dollar projects throughout the complete life cycle of a project. This includes pre-feasibility and feasibility studies through to project implementation and finally operation and maintenance of facilities in the resource and other sectors.
Kramer Ausenco is proud of its south pacific origins having been founded in Papua New Guinea in 1978. A large proportion of our staff are south pacific nationals who have graduated from Australian and New Zealand Universities and technological institutions. We actively look to employ those from our region of operation with the aim of training young professionals, technicians and managers, before sending them out as leaders in our Pacific regional offices.
We have a mobile Technical Services Management team including discipline leads in Project Management, Civil, Structural and Architectural Design Services who can be deployed at short notice to support and participate in project delivery from any of our established regional offices in Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Tonga, Samoa and Fiji as well as any project in the greater pacific region including Australia and New Zealand.

Part of the specialist services we offer our clients locally includes Ecologically Sustainable Design Initiatives led by our Group Building Services Manager and office manager who is a Green Star Accredited Professional with the Australian Green Building Council.
Ecologically Sustainable Development (ESD) seeks to create buildings that lessen the environmental impacts of the built environment, that save money, and that result in healthier environments in which to live, work and learn. Achieving this relies on the whole life cycle of a building – its design, construction, commissioning, operation and eventual deconstruction – being considered from the earliest project stages.
Buildings that embrace this approach are often called ‘Green Buildings’. The design of a green building involves selecting the most appropriate of these ESD initiatives as well as others that may arise, to create a cost effective, high performance, healthy building.
The inclusion of ESD principles in the building planning and design offers the benefits of an enhanced working environment, improved quality of life and customer satisfaction with the provision of:
- Building flexibility and the potential to cater for user changes in the future
- Desirable natural and social environments
- Efficient use of resources and energy
This service can be offered if required to provide value to the project and ensure a “Green building” is adopted during the pre-planning and planning phases.
